The University

Wellcome back, The post of this week refers to the place where I study, the University of Chile and in specific the Faculty of Forest Science and Conservation of Nature.

When I take the PSU test I only had the idea of enter in a traditional university (just the ones that are in Santiago and the ones that had carrers that I like) and my options were the University of Santiago and this one, but when I had my results I prefer this university because it have the tradition, the prestige name, the commitment to service to the country and the recognition anywhere. Those are the reasons that take me here.

But now after 4 years, and knowing most of the university there are things that I like and others that I don´t like...

I still like the liberty that you have here in relation with the people who study here, because the level of exigency in the studies is stressful sometimes, I like my campus because is big and have a lot of green spaces to recreate yourself and studing. I like the CFG program that has the university because I can learn other things (different from my carrer) the clases are in other places with people of other faculty and I think it´s fun (I taken two clases).

I don´t like the individuality with that university works and the finanancing program that make carrers with a huge infraestructure and other with money problems like my carrer.

Those are my opinions about the university.

Hobbies

Hello people!!, the post for this time it will be dedicate to write about my hobbies, maybe if I have a real one it would be more easy XD. Sorry for to be boring or no dedicated to a work, but there is my point, maybe I do things that can be called a hobbie, but for me a hobbie requires time and dedication and I don´t have this quality maybe for time, money or I don´t know.

Well, leaving this on the past. I will introduce the things that I like to do (maybe my hobbies). I like to play videogames =)! I know it´s called "electronic-leasure" but I think that this tipe of electronic games increase the skills and the concentration and I like it a lot, I like many kind of games, action, RPG, sports.

Other of my favorite hobbies is watch tv series , I know everybody do it but I don´t have more ideas, I watch Glee and Lost are my favorites and I don´t lose any chapter.

Thinking well I have hobbies, may not build ships in bottles or take pictures or go hunting but I like my hobbies.

An interesting webpage

Hello everybody, The topic for today is related with my "favorite" webpage related with my carrer, first I have to be honest and I don´t have a favorite webpage but this one I think that is interesting because it has a lot of information about new investigations related with the forest area.
The name of the web-site is Gayana Botanica and the URL is http://www.scielo.cl/scielo.php?pid=0717-6643&script=sci_serial and it was created by the Concepcion University. This is an electronic journal that is dedicated to the publication of studies related to the botanical, This electronic journal publish two issues per year and it´s so easy to find one of them, you can go to the top of the webpage and there says issues, you can see them all or the actual issue also you can search a paper by the name of the author or the subject of the paper. The available issues are sorted by the year and you can find topics ranging from studies on some tree species to the study of a microscopic structure.
The available papers are publish in inglish and in spanish
This site always helps when I have homework or stuff like that

Movies and more movies.

Wellcome again to my blog, the topic for today will be the MOVIES, wow!! another huge topic because to be honest I like many kind of movies, It´s one of my favorite things that I want to do especially with company.

I like to watch movies in all of the formats that you can imagine, like DVD, VHS, on my computer (although illegal), but to make more exciting your experience I must go to the cinema, I don´t know how many movies I´ve seen on the cinema, but I remember the first one, was Jurassic Park and it was when I was child in Viña del Mar in an old cinema called CINE REX, I went with my mom and she bought pop corn. It was amazing to see a tremendous screen and the movie was great (I see it 2 times), now I take my nephews to the movies and they enjoy as I when I had his age.

Well passing to the topic. Now I can remember a few of my favoritie movie like Slumdog millionaire, The Godfather, The Fifth element, Edward scissorhands and the Suicide virgins, those movies I can watch one time and another and not get tired.

I´m not good with the names and always forgot names of directors and actors.

I love the movies and I always say yes if somebody invites me to the cinema.
